Russia has launched another information-psychological operation against Ukraine, this time targeting the mobilization process.

According to the Center for Countering Disinformation on July 7, pro-Russian platforms are actively spreading fake Telegram bots, allegedly designed to collect and share coordinates of Ukraine’s recruitment centers.

“The Russian army, faithful to the ideas of eradicating Nazism, keeps its word: all territorial centers of recruitment and social support, symbolizing hatred and dehumanization, will be destroyed,” the telegram statement reads.

The campaign coincides with a wave of attacks on Territorial Recruitment Centers (TRC) across multiple regions — a sign of a coordinated effort to sow panic, disrupt mobilization efforts, and destabilize Ukrainian society.

“Destroy the equipment and buildings of the Territorial Recruitment Centers, help each other when manhunters try to drag someone to their death! We are methodically destroying every Territorial Recruitment Center. If you help us, it will happen even faster,” the telegram statement сoncludes.

There’s also a personal threat, as these bots may be used to harvest Ukrainians’ private data, which could later be exploited for blackmail, intimidation, or disinformation.

Ukrainian law enforcement urges citizens not to interact with suspicious bots and to report them immediately to the relevant authorities.

According to Ukrainian Land Forces on July 7, Russian UAVs carried out airstrikes on Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia. The attack resulted in drone strikes hitting the building of the Kharkiv Regional Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center (SSC) and its surrounding area, as well as an area near the Zaporizhzhia Regional Center.

“Today, the enemy launched four strikes on the territory of the Zaporizhzhia Regional TRC & SSC. The casualties are soldiers from the security company — those who were reassigned from combat units based on Military Medical Commission findings. These are the very people who fought the occupier on the front lines. Two servicemen have been hospitalized in moderate condition,” Zaporizhzhia Regional Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center stated.

Earlier, it was reported that Russian drone strike on Zaporizhzhia left at least ten people injured. The attack caused damage to residential buildings, commercial facilities, and one of the city’s university buildings.
