Russia Strikes Zaporizhzhia Region Nearly 500 Times in 24 Hours

Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces striked Ukrainian Zaporizhzhia region nearly 500 times in a day, reported region’s governor Ivan Fedoriv on October 3.

He noted that Russian Air Forces conducted 5 airstrikes on Bilohirya and Uspenivka, 288 UAVs targeted Lobkove, Huliaipole, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Malynivka, and Levadne.

Also, Russia launched five MLRS strikes at Novoandriivka and Novodanylivka, and conducted 195 shellings in the areas of Lobkove, Huliaipole, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Malynivka, and Levadne.

Local authorities reported 43 cases of damage to residential buildings and infrastructure, luckily no casualities were reported.

Recently, Russia ramped up its attacks on Zaporizhzhia region amid their Eastern advance, having modernized their guided bombs that are now able to reach major Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia.

Earlier, Russia hit a gas carrying car in Chernihiv region killing at least 3 and injuring 4 people, including children.
