Russian Artillery Shells Kharkiv Region, At Least Three People Trapped Under Rubble

Russian forces shelled Kozacha Lopan in the Kharkiv region with artillery, three people are believed to be trapped under the rubble.

This was reported by the Head of the Kharkiv Region State Administration Oleh Syniehubov.

As a result of shelling, the building of the village council was damaged.

Rescue services are working on-site.

Update: In the evening, a woman was rescued from the rubble of the village council, there may still be people under the rubble.

In September 2022, our correspondents visited the village of Kozacha Lopan which is located in the northern part of the Kharkiv region, about 5 km from the border with the Russian Federation. It was occupied in the first hours of Russia's full-scale invasion. But on September 11th, the village was liberated by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
