The report details extensive losses of Russian military equipment, including tanks, armored vehicles, artillery systems, aircraft, and drones.

Beyond the human cost, the report details extensive losses of Russian military equipment, highlighting the potential impact on Russia’s long-term military capabilities. Here’s a breakdown of some key categories:

  • Armored Vehicles: The estimates show that Russia has lost 8,123 tanks, 15,583 armored fighting vehicles (AFVs), and nearly 20,000 cars and cisterns crucial for logistical support.

  • Firepower: The report details the destruction or capture of 14,712 artillery systems, 1,115 multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), and over 870 anti-aircraft warfare systems.

  • Airpower: Russia has reportedly lost 360 aircraft and 326 helicopters, potentially hindering its ability to establish complete air superiority.

  • Drones: Russia has lost a significant number of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), with a reported total exceeding 11,600. This could hamper Russia’s intelligence gathering and close air support capabilities.

  • Naval Losses: The report includes the destruction or capture of 28 ships and boats, as well as one submarine.

The Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence has also attempted to estimate the financial cost of Russia’s equipment losses, placing it in the billions of dollars.

Earlier, The US and NATO intelligence, reported a significant increase in Russian casualties during their May offensive in northern Kharkiv, stating that the daily losses for the Russian army averaged over 1,000 killed and wounded.
