On October 27, Russian forces launched FPV drone attacks in the Kutsurub community of Mykolaiv district, targeting populated areas.

According to regional police reports, the strikes resulted in the death of a 43-year-old local resident who was traveling by moped within the community.

Following the initial incident, Russian drones targeted a police vehicle that had arrived on site to document the aftermath of the first attack. The subsequent strike ignited a fire, completely destroying the police vehicle; however, the officers present were unharmed.

Law enforcement officials have initiated a criminal investigation under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, citing violations of the laws and customs of war. Officers are actively collecting evidence at the impact sites to support the ongoing documentation of alleged Russian war crimes.
