In 2023, the Russian film company Mosfilm transferred 50 pieces of former prop military equipment to support Russian forces.

This was reported by The Moscow Times, citing the Studio Director Karen Shakhnazarov.

According to Shakhnazarov, the Defense Ministry was given 28 T-55 tanks, 8 PT-76 tanks, 6 infantry fighting vehicles and 8 tractors from the studio's military-technical base.

“I learned there was a need, got in touch with the Ministry of Defense, and they took the vehicles,” said Shakhnazarov.

Militarnyi stated that as of today, PT-76 light amphibious tanks have not yet been spotted in combat zones. However, considering the growing shortage of armored vehicles in the Russian Armed Forces and the reactivation of other outdated models, such as the BTR-50, this remains entirely possible.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian losses amount to 9319 tanks and 18947 armored personnel vehicles as of November 14.

On November 13, Russian forces attempted an assault on the Kupiansk direction, with some soldiers reportedly dressed in Ukrainian military uniforms. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this incident, describing the move as a violation of the laws of armed war.
