Russian Forces Breach Ukrainian Defenses in Lyman Direction, Says Brigade Commander

Russian forces have reportedly breached Ukrainian defenses in the Lyman direction, according to Stanislav Bunyatov, a platoon commander of the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade.

“The situation is difficult,” Bunyatov said, describing the current conditions on this front.

On December 29, Russian forces are attempting to bypass Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region while launching strikes on nearby settlements, Viktor Trehubov, spokesperson for the Operational Strategic Group Khortytsia, stated on the national telethon.
