On October 6, reports emerged from the 12th Special Forces Brigade Azov of the National Guard of Ukraine regarding a grave incident in the town of New York, located in the Donetsk region. Russian forces executed three Ukrainian servicemen who were in captivity.

The execution was captured on video by a drone operated by the Azov Brigade. The footage reveals the moment when Russian soldiers shot the unarmed Ukrainian fighters from a nearby unit at close range.

As of now, Ukrainian Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets has not publicly commented on this latest incident of alleged war crimes committed by Russian forces.
