Russian Forces Lose 100 Advanced T-90M Tanks, Analysts Report

The Russian military has lost its 100th state-of-the-art T-90M tank, as stated by the analysts at the Oryx portal. Based on publicly available information, the analysts identified 100 instances of destroyed or damaged T-90M tanks from photos and videos.

The list includes vehicles captured by the Ukrainian Defense Forces and those abandoned by Russian crews on the battlefield without significant damage.

Russian propaganda promotes the T-90M as a response to modernizations of Western tanks like the American M1A2 Sep V3, German Leopard 2A7, and British Challenger 3.

The T-90M itself represents a significant upgrade from the T-90/A tanks, incorporating enhanced protection, new fire control systems, and modernized engine and transmission components.

These tanks are upgrades of the T-90 and T-90A tanks that have been in Russian army service since the 1990s.
