Russian forces launched a series of airstrikes on Zaporizhzhia overnight, using guided bombs. Local authorities confirmed that three strikes hit the city, causing injuries and significant damage.

According to the National Police of Ukraine and Zaporizhzhia region Military Administration, the strikes occurred between 2:20 a.m. and 2:31 a.m., targeting infrastructure, a residential area, and a local equestrian club. The police reported two civilian injuries, one of whom is an 11-year-old child.

Zaporizhzhia region Governor Ivan Fedorov provided an update on the injured, noting that two individuals declined hospitalization, while the child received treatment at a local hospital and has since returned home. Earlier, it was reported that three people, including women aged 55 and 22, were among the injured.

The strikes followed air raid alerts issued by Ukraine’s Air Force, which tracked the launch of guided bombs by Russian forces. The State Emergency Service (SES) of Ukraine confirmed ongoing rescue operations in the city, noting that a private home was completely destroyed and fires spread across an area of 35 square meters.
