Russian Losses Surpass 700,000, Reports Ukrainian General Staff

Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion, Russian forces have lost approximately 700,390 personnel, with 1,300 casualties reported in the last 24 hours alone, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on November 4.

In addition to personnel losses, Ukraine provided an update on Russia’s equipment and vehicle losses:

  • Tanks: 9,193 (+11 in the past 24 hours)

  • Armored fighting vehicles: 18,538 (+15)

  • Artillery systems: 20,121 (+35)

  • Multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS): 1,245 (+1)

  • Air defense systems: 994

  • Aircraft: 369

  • Helicopters: 329

  • Drones (operational-tactical level): 18,280 (+93)

  • Cruise missiles: 2,629 (+1)

  • Ships/boats: 28

  • Submarines: 1

  • Vehicles and fuel tanks: 28,237 (+77)

  • Specialized military equipment: 3,587 (+3)

Earlier, a survey conducted by military doctors disclosed that nearly three-quarters of Russian soldiers' fatalities are attributed to be caused by explosions.
