Russian Massive Strike on Kharkiv, Injured at Least 21 People, Including 5 Children
Russian strike on Shevchenkivskyi, Saltivskyi, and Kholodnogirskyi districts of Kharkiv injured 21 people, including 5 children, Ukrainian State Emergency Service (SES) reported on October 28.
The attacks, which also targeted the city of Chuhuiv in Kharkiv region, resulted in significant damage to residential areas.
“Russia hit multiple districts across Kharkiv city and the surrounding region, leading to widespread damage to residential infrastructure,” SES added.
Rescue operations continue in the Kholodnogirskyi district, where the city’s mayor confirmed that seven people were injured, including a 16-year-old girl.
The strikes caused structural damage between the eighth and ninth floors of a high-rise residential building, completely destroying three apartments.
Additionally, one utility building was destroyed, with 21 houses and 4 cars damaged.
