Russian Occupying Authorities in Donetsk Region Conduct Lectures on the Dangers of Western Cinema

Russian occupying authorities in the Donetsk region are conducting anti-Western propaganda campaigns, targeting the youth with lectures on the supposed dangers of European and American “freedom” propaganda in Western cinema.
This was reported by the Ukrainian Center for National Resistance (CNS) on December 3.
The lectures, which aimed to highlight the "negative impact" of Western values on traditional Russian beliefs, were held for students of Donetsk Technical University and activists from the “Young Guard.”
“Kremlin propagandists warned attendees about the alleged harm of European and American ideals of freedom,” CNS wrote.
According to Ukrainian resistance sources, the lectures were organized by the pro-Kremlin propagandistic group “Znaniye.”
In related reports, the Center for National Resistance recently highlighted that the occupying forces have set up “temporary detention points” for elderly people in the occupied territories, where they are subjected to regular propaganda sessions.
Scientists from Russian universities are brought in to conduct these sessions, and the “Znaniye” organization continues to carry out regular propaganda work in these regions.
Parallel to this, Russia has been ramping up its propaganda efforts aimed at Western audiences, with the film Russians at War serving as an example. Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs labeled the film as Russian propaganda, and the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications added the film’s director Anastasia Trofimova to the list of individuals posing a threat to Ukraine's national security.
