Russian Propaganda Circulates Fake UNITED24 Media Video

Russian media resources are spreading a fake video supposedly from UNITED24 media, which describes cases of fatal poisoning among Ukrainian soldiers fighting in the Kursk direction, allegedly after consuming products stolen from local supermarkets.

UNITED24 media states that this information is fake and we did not publish such a video.

By fabricating such fakes, Russian propagandists aim to discredit Ukrainian soldiers involved in operations in the Kursk region, attributing to them crimes they did not commit. Unlike Russian soldiers, Ukrainian soldiers do not engage in looting and treat the local population with respect.

This is not the first time the Center for Countering Disinformation (CPD) has recorded fake stories supposedly created by UNITED24 Media. We urge everyone to trust only official resources and verified information sources.
