Russian Shelling Kills 2, Injures 8 in Ukrainsk, Donetsk Region

On July 1st, Russian forces shelled the town of Ukrainsk in Donetsk region, resulting in the deaths of at least two and injuries to eight others.

“Early in the morning, Russians shelled the town with 'Uragan' rockets, hitting residential areas. Two women aged 65 and 70 were killed. According to preliminary information, 10 apartment buildings and an administrative building were damaged,” reported Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration.

“Every day there are more and more victims of Russian war crimes in Donetsk,” Filashkin wrote.

On June 29th, Russian forces conducted intensive shelling of Donetsk region, resulting in the deaths of seven people.

Earlier, on June 28th, four civilians were killed and three more injured, including an eight-year-old girl, in a shelling by Russian forces on the village of New York, in the Donetsk region.
