Russian Special Services Recruit Ukrainian Minors for Sabotage in Ukraine, Offering Cash for Arson
In order to destabilize the situation in Ukraine, the special services of the Russian Federation encouraged minors to burn the cars of the Armed Forces of Ukraine servicemen for money.
Young men who were involved in criminal activity have been detained. These crimes are punishable by up to 15 years in prison or life imprisonment.
The police established that since the beginning of 2024, the special services of Russia became active in social networks, and involved people aged 13 and over in underground subversive activities.
The head of the Criminal Investigation Department of the National Police, Vadym Dziubynskyi, said that in Odesa, the police uncovered two boys, 13 and 16 years old, who set fire to two cars belonging to military personnel.
The teenagers were detained together with two friends aged 16 and 18 while trying to set fire to another car.
Employees of the special services of the Russian Federation promised generous compensation to minors for arson.
Also, similar attacks were recorded in Kyiv and Dnipro. Urgent investigative actions are being carried out on these facts, and a pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
“We call on parents to pay more attention to their children, as well as to warn them about the insidiousness of the enemy and the legal responsibility for committing sabotage: up to 15 years of imprisonment or life imprisonment,” Vadym Dziubynskyi addressed the parents.
