NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte has commended Ukrainian radar systems as an example of innovation in defense technology. Speaking in Brussels on January 13, Rutte highlighted their cost efficiency, noting that such advancements could help reduce overall defense expenditures for NATO member states.

"Ukraine is experimenting with new radar systems that are significantly less expensive than traditional systems used to detect incoming missiles," Rutte said. "These types of innovations can play a role in managing defense budgets more effectively without compromising security."

Earlier, it was reported that NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte has called on member states to increase defense spending and improve military production to maintain security in the coming years.
