Satellite images have emerged confirming the extensive damage at Russia’s 51st GRAU  ammunition depot in the Kirzhach district of the Vladimir region following explosions that occurred on April 22.

The imagery was published on X by an OSINT analyst, Brady Africk.

Radar-based SAR images taken on April 23 reveal significant destruction across the western and central sections of the depot.

On April 23, reports indicated that the explosion at Russia’s 51st GRAU arsenal may have been caused by a drone attack during the unloading of munitions from railway cars.

The depot is believed to have hold more than 100,000 tons of munitions, including artillery shells, MLRS rockets, components for air defense systems, and tactical missiles like the Tochka-U.
