On the morning of October 4, a Shahed drone was reported to have exploded in Kalinkavichy, Belarus.

This was reported by the Belarusian Hajun monitoring group on their Telegram channel.

According to several sources, around 4:55 am residents of the town heard a loud explosion. Twelve minutes before that, Ukrainian monitoring projects announced that a Shahed had flown into the airspace of Belarus and was in the Narowlya area. The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces also confirmed the fact that one of the drones was moving in the direction of Belarus.

On the night of October 3, Russia attacked Ukraine with 105 Shahed drones, Ukraine’s anti-aircraft defense managed to shoot down 78 of them.

This is not the first incident of a Russian drone flying into Belarusian airspace. Yesterday, three Shahed drones, launched during a Russian aerial attack on Ukraine, flew in from Ukraine’s Chernihiv region toward the Gomel region of Belarus, while a helicopter carrying the Belarusian leader Lukashenko was flying in the sky.
