Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez announced that he will travel to Ukraine on February 24 to show support for President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Ukrainian democracy.

This announcement comes a day after U.S. President Donald Trump referred to Zelenskyy as a “dictator,” and questioned his democratic legitimacy.

On February 19, several European leaders expressed their disagreement with recent comments made by Trump, who referred to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy as a dictator and questioned his democratic legitimacy.

Additionally, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda is set to visit Kyiv ahead of the third anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
