As part of ongoing talks, a “path forward” is being considered, with discussions focusing on the enforcement of economic measures against Russia. Sources indicate that current enforcement of sanctions is relatively low—estimated informally at a “level 3 out of 10.” The Trump administration is reportedly exploring ways to increase pressure, particularly targeting Russia’s so-called shadow fleet .
Fox News sources state that most of this fleet is already under sanction, yet it remains responsible for approximately 70% of Russia’s illicit oil sales.
