Trump Boasts US Could “Destroy the World 150 Times” With Its Nuclear Arsenal

President Donald Trump claimed that the United States possesses the capability to destroy the world 150 times over due to its nuclear arsenal, according to RBC-Ukraine on November 6.

In an interview with Spanish-language broadcaster Univision, Trump stated, “I had the nuclear codes. If I wanted to, I could have destroyed the whole world—150 times over.”

He added that, despite having such power, he refrained from using it, emphasizing the importance of avoiding nuclear war.

Trump also asserted that during his presidency, major international conflicts such as the war in Ukraine and the escalation in the Middle East were absent.

“There was nothing like this. No war with Ukraine, no war with Israel. We lived very peacefully,” he said.

The remarks were made as part of a broader discussion on foreign policy, where Trump contrasted his term in office with the global instability that preceded his return to power.

Earlier, it was reported that the Kremlin re‑classified prior claims by Vladimir Putin regarding tests of the Burevestnik cruise missile and the Poseidon underwater drone, stating that the trials were “in no way” nuclear in nature and thus did not violate the global moratorium on nuclear testing.
