Trump Isn’t Planning Any Concessions to Putin or Russians, Says Special Envoy Kellogg
Keith Kellogg, nominated by US President-elect Donald Trump as special envoy for Ukraine, stated on January 8 that the president-elect has no intention of making concessions to Vladimir Putin and is committed to saving Ukraine.
"People need to understand, he is not trying to give something to Putin or the Russians, he is actually trying to save Ukraineʼs sovereignty and guarantee it. And he is going to guarantee that it is fair and honest,” Kellogg told Fox News.
During the same broadcast, Kellogg stated that Trump plans to resolve Russia’s war in Ukraine within the first 100 days of his presidency.
“I would like to set a goal on a personal level, professional level. I would say let's set it at 100 days and move all the way back and figure a way we can do this in the near term to make sure that the solution is solid,” he stated.
It was previously reported that Kellogg postponed his planned trip to Kyiv and other European capitals until after Trump’s inauguration on January 20, despite initially intending to make the visit before the new president took office.
