The new package, part of a wider aid program announced in June, includes $136 million in humanitarian support for frontline communities and $57 million to repair and protect critical energy infrastructure targeted by Russian strikes.
Her visit comes amid heightened tensions in the region, following the recent incursion of Russian drones into NATO airspace in Poland.
Earlier, Prince Harry paid an unannounced visit to Kyiv this week, vowing to support the recovery of thousands of Ukrainians wounded in Russia’s full-scale war, The Guardian reported on September 12.
The Duke of Sussex arrived in Ukraine with a delegation from his Invictus Games Foundation, stressing his determination to do “everything possible” to assist in the rehabilitation of injured service members. The team is also preparing to unveil new initiatives to expand support programs across the country.
