Ukraine’s Defense Forces have reportedly begun deploying new interceptor drones, according to a report from the Telegram channel BPLA Inform on March 17.

The channel shared a photo and a video fragment of an unknown UAV, noting that this particular type of drones had not been previously observed in use.

“During its flight, a Russian reconnaissance drone captured footage of an unidentified UAV, which was quickly identified as an interceptor—likely Ukrainian. It appeared to be attempting to take down the enemy drone,” BPLA Inform wrote.

On March 14, Babel reported Ukraine introducing its first batch of FPV drones assembled from domestically produced modules. The presentation, held in Kyiv, was opened by Minister for Strategic Industries Oleksandr Kamyshin and brought together representatives of the country’s drone industry.
