Ukraine FM: Zelenskyy and Trump Maintain Longstanding, Result-Oriented Dialogue

Following Donald Trump’s victory in the US presidential election, Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha emphasized Ukraine’s commitment to strengthening its strategic partnership with the United States to foster a “comprehensive, just, and lasting peace,” Sybiha wrote on X on November 6.
In a statement, Sybiha noted the longstanding dialogue between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and President Trump.
“President Zelenskyy and President Trump maintained a long-standing, constructive dialogue focused on tangible results. We will work together to reinforce the US-Ukraine strategic partnership and bring closer a comprehensive, fair, and lasting peace. We rely on America’s decisive leadership.” Ukrainian FM wrote.
Earlier, Zelenskyy congratulated the newly elected US President Donald Trump in a post on his official account on X.
