Ukraine Has Destroyed Over 6,000 Russian Artillery Systems in 2025, Says Commander-in-Chief

Since the beginning of 2025, Ukrainian forces have destroyed 6,186 Russian artillery systems, bringing the total to 19,236 since the beginning of 2024.

This was reported by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, in a Facebook post on May 12, accompanied by a video.

“I thank our soldiers for their resilience and effectiveness. The fight continues. Glory to Ukraine!” Syrskyi wrote.

On May 9, the 413th Separate Unmanned Systems Battalion “Raid” reported destroying a modern Russian self-propelled artillery system, the 2S43 “Malva,” using a Ukrainian FPV drone.
