Ukraine Lists 314 Belarusians Killed Fighting for Russia—Youngest Only 18 Years Old

The Ukrainian state initiative “I Want to Live” has published a list of 314 Belarusian citizens killed in the war against Ukraine while fighting on the Russian side, on October 13.
“At least 314 Belarusian citizens have died in the war as mercenaries of the Russian army,” the project stated. It publishes names of the dead while also operating a hotline to arrange safe surrender.
According to the initiative, a total of 1,338 Belarusians have been identified as having fought or currently fighting for Russia, and nearly one in four of them has been killed. The list is not complete, so the real number of dead and missing Belarusians may be higher.
Among the identified facts: the oldest killed was 63, the youngest 18. Many were recruited in prisons, and a significant number served in units of the 150th Russian Motor Rifle Division.
Belarus remains one of Russia’s closest allies in the war against Ukraine. Russian recruitment structures operate through local conscription offices and the penitentiary system.
Independent media in Belarus and Ukraine have corroborated the scale of Belarusian losses within Russian forces reported by “I Want to Live.”
“I Want to Live” is a Ukrainian government platform that accepts surrender requests from Russian soldiers and foreign mercenaries, documents data on units and losses, and publishes verified records of the dead.
Earlier, it was reported that the Ukrainian project “I Want to Live” published leaked internal Russian figures indicating 281,550 total casualties in the first 243 days of 2025, including 86,744 killed.
