Ukraine Receives First F-16 Simulator from Czech Republic
Ukraine has received its first F-16 fighter jet simulator, which was transferred by the Czech Republic to one of the tactical aviation brigades.
This was announced by the Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Mykola Oleshchuk.
“Today, the Czech Republic transferred the first F-16 fighter jet simulator to one of the tactical aviation brigades,” the Commander said.
According to Oleshchuk, Ukrainian specialists are already testing and preparing the main module of the aviation simulator for operation.
“I thank everyone who helps Ukraine strengthen its aviation forces. Besides the F-16 aircraft themselves, we need to create a powerful training and material base for our youth. I call on our allies to join this initiative,” Oleshchuk said.
It is expected that the first F-16 aircraft will arrive in Ukraine with trained pilots and technical personnel. The exact timing of Ukraine’s receipt of the aircraft is currently unknown. However, partners hope this will happen as early as summer or autumn of this year.
