Seven more Ukrainian children aged between 6 and 17 have been successfully returned from the temporarily occupied territories.

The evacuation was carried out within the framework of President Zelenskyy's initiative Bring Kids Back UA, according to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine on July 8.

The families of these children had been living under constant pressure from the occupying authorities. They were forced to obtain Russian documents, prohibited from speaking Ukrainian, and threatened with the loss of parental rights. The occupying forces also restricted their access to medical care and freedom of movement.

The children and their families are now finally safe.

“I’m grateful to the team of the Ombudsman’s Office and our international partners for helping organize the rescue of our children. We are fulfilling the President’s task—to bring everyone back,” said the Head of the Presidential Office.

Earlier, it was reported that Russian forces are ramping up efforts to indoctrinate children in the temporarily occupied areas of Kherson region, using youth organizations to push propaganda and groom them for future participation in the war.

According to local collaborator Vladyslav Yarchenko, more than ten such groups are currently active in the region. At the same time, the occupiers are expanding so-called “student rescue corps” — volunteer-style formations that serve as another channel for militarization under a civilian pretext.
