Ukraine Wipes Out Russian Special Forces on Offshore Platform in the Black Sea, Video

Ukraine’s Navy has carried out a precision strike on a Russian offshore platform in the Black Sea used as a military observation post, according to the Ukrainian Navy on November 3.
In a statement, the Navy said the operation targeted the Sivash drilling platform, where Russian forces had stationed an elite special unit. The strike destroyed a Russian anti-tank missile team along with surveillance and reconnaissance equipment installed on the platform.
“The enemy’s reconnaissance and observation systems, as well as the crew of an anti-tank missile complex, were destroyed,” the Ukrainian Navy reported. The statement added that Russian media later attempted to portray the loss as a victory, circulating footage allegedly showing the destruction of a Ukrainian boat by a Lancet loitering munition.
According to the Navy, the footage was misleading—Ukrainian forces themselves had successfully used a drone equipped with an explosive payload to hit the Russian position. The strike triggered a detonation of enemy equipment and ammunition stored on the platform.
The Sivash platform had been repurposed by Russian forces into a surveillance hub equipped with radar systems, optical sensors, and radio reconnaissance tools to monitor maritime activity. Its destruction limits Russia’s ability to track Ukrainian naval operations in the region.
Earlier, Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence Directorate conducted a precision strike in occupied Crimea, destroying multiple Russian radar and air defense assets, including a 92N6E radar and components of an S-400 system.
