Ukraine’s International Legion Denies Links to Suspect in Trump Assassination Attempt

Ukraine's International Legion has denied any links to Ryan Wesley Routh, the suspect detained in connection with the suspected assassination attempt on Donald Trump.

Routh, who portrayed himself as a supporter of Ukraine on social media and claimed to be recruiting foreign volunteers for Kyiv, was never affiliated with the International Legion, according to the unit.

“American citizen Ryan Routh has never served in the International Legion of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, has no relation to the unit. Rumors disseminated in certain media are not true,” the unit stated.
