Ukraine’s Special Drone Unit “The Ghosts” Hits Russian Air Defenses in Occupied Crimea, Video

On June 26, Ukraine’s military intelligence (HUR) reported that its special drone unit, known as “The Ghosts,” conducted a successful strike on Russian air defense infrastructure in temporarily occupied Crimea.
The operation reportedly targeted key elements of the S-400 “Triumf” surface-to-air missile system. According to Ukrainian sources, the following components were hit:
Two 92N2E multi-functional radar systems;
Two 91N6E detection radars;
One S-400 launch vehicle.

These radar systems are essential for the functionality of the S-400, providing detection and tracking capabilities. Without them, the system’s effectiveness is severely compromised.
A Ukrainian defense official, speaking on condition of anonymity, stated:
“Each successful operation further degrades the enemy’s ability to control the skies over occupied territories. This is part of a broader effort to create strategic vulnerabilities in their defenses.”
Previously, it was reported that the HUR carried out a sabotage operation targeting a major power substation in the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad, knocking out electricity to Russian military sites in a $5 million sabotage.
