Ukrainian Air Force Destroys Russian Command Post in Zaporizhzhia With Precision Strike

A Russian command and observation post, located in a residential building near the village of Kopani and used by the 1429th Motorized Rifle Regiment, has been destroyed by Ukrainian airstrikes.
Ukraine’s General Staff reported the successful operation on February 27.
“On February 25, 2025, the Ukrainian Air Force carried out a precise strike on a residential building near Kopani in the Zaporizhzhia region. The structure had been repurposed by the 1429th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the occupying forces as a command and observation post, as well as a launch site for UAVs,” the statement said.
The strike has significantly reduced the enemy’s ability to terrorize Ukrainian civilians, according to the report.
Ukrainian forces vowed to continue targeting Russian positions until the Kremlin fully withdraws its troops from Ukraine.
Previously, a Russian air defense radar station in Crimea was hit in a drone strike, the Russian media outlet ASTRA reported on February 27.
