In connection with the deterioration of the security situation in the Donetsk region, the Ukrainian authorities decided to start a forced evacuation of children with their parents from settlements in the Kostiantynivka and Selydove municipalities, listing around 20 cities and villages.

This was concluded today at a meeting of the Regional Commission on Technological and Environmental Safety and Emergency Situations. The head of the Donetsk Region Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, calls for the evacuation of all civilians.

Kostiantynivka and Selydove settlements are located close to Pokrovsk, a direction that has been highlighted as the hottest and most intense area in the daily updates from the Ukrainian General Staff.

Following the capture of Avdiivka in the Donetsk region, the Russians are attempting to advance further towards the city of Pokrovsk.
