Ruslan Baginskiy

Ukrainian fashion is most visibly represented through Mindy Chen, played by Ashley Park—Emily’s close friend and one of the series’ defining style figures. In the fifth season, costume designer Marilyn Fitoussi once again turns to Ukrainian designer Ruslan Baginskiy, styling Mindy in a green baker boy cap and a cream-colored fedora.

The headwear functions as a quiet but distinctive accent, naturally extending the brand’s established visual language within the show. This is not Baginskiy’s first appearance in Emily in Paris: his accessories were also featured in Season 4, worn by both Mindy and Emily.

BALYKINA

Ukrainian fashion is further showcased through designs by BALYKINA, which appear on Mindy Chen in multiple episodes this season. She wears two dresses by the brand: the black Carry Dress in Episode Five and the striking yellow Sasha Dress in Episode Ten.

The yellow Sasha Dress, in particular, stands out in the final episode and extends beyond the screen—Ashley Park is also seen wearing it in a behind-the-scenes Instagram photo shared by her co-star Lily Collins,

Blazy Shower

Another memorable Ukrainian moment comes from the brand Blazy Shower. Mindy appears in the pink Rosalia Dress in a scene following her performance at the iconic Parisian cabaret Crazy Horse. The dress seamlessly continues her stage persona, heightening the glamour of the sequence and reinforcing the episode’s theatrical mood.

Reflecting on the feature, the brand described it as “a dream come true and a milestone we’ll cherish forever,” adding that “seeing our design come to life on screen feels incredibly special and surreal.”

BetterMe Store

In the second episode of the fifth season, Mindy Chen is seen wearing a cropped lavender catsuit by Ukrainian brand BetterMe Store.

“An absolute fashion revolution as athleisure moves beyond the gym!” the brand wrote on Instagram.

GUZEMA Jewelry

Ukrainian accents also appear in the wardrobe of the show’s central character. Emily Cooper, portrayed by Lily Collins, wears jewelry by GUZEMA Jewelry across several episodes of the season.

Her looks are complemented by various pieces from the brand, including white gold and diamond earrings, as well as ear cuffs and rings, subtly weaving Ukrainian design into Emily’s everyday style.

Earlier, the Ukrainian fashion brand Ruslan Baginskiy was featured across twelve display windows at Paris’s iconic Galeries Lafayette department store. The installation celebrates the brand’s 10th anniversary and marks the first time a Ukrainian fashion label has carried out a takeover of this scale at the landmark venue.
