The video, which premiered in late October 2024, portrays Gaga confronting various versions of herself—embodiments of inner demons—as she attempts to regain control over her deepest fears. In addition to Best Director, the video also won the award for Best Makeup and Hairstyling.
This is not the first time “Disease” has been recognized internationally. The video previously received the Best Solo Artist Video award at the MTV Video Music Awards Japan.
Tanu Muiño has become one of the most in-demand directors in the music industry, with past collaborations including Post Malone and The Weeknd, Cardi B, Katy Perry, Rosalía, Lenny Kravitz, Jennifer Lopez, Harry Styles, Dua Lipa, and Sam Smith.

She has also worked with prominent K-pop artists and directed the stage performance for Alyona Alyona and Jerry Heil at Eurovision 2024.

Previously, it was reported that the American rock band Linkin Park registered its new logo with the Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent).
