Ukrainian Drone Pilots Wipe Out Ancient Chinese Type-63 Rocket Launcher, Video

Ukrainian drone operators from the “Signum” battalion continue targeting Russian forces along the Lyman axis, destroying a rare Type-63 multiple-launch rocket system, an SPG-9 anti-tank recoilless gun, and a lot of vehicles, according to combat footage the unit published on November 19.
The main target was the Type-63, a Soviet-era 107 mm multiple-launch rocket system originally produced in China. Although outdated, Russian units have been using it to blanket Ukrainian positions with cluster and fragmentation munitions.

“This MLRS fires across wide areas, but this time the area it used to operate from has vanished from the map,” the battalion said in a statement.
Alongside the launcher, drone pilots also struck and ignited a Russian ammunition storage point. Another precision hit destroyed an SPG-9 “Sparrow”, a lightweight tripod-mounted recoilless launcher used primarily against vehicles and fortifications.

Once the heavier weapons were neutralized, the operators began targeting Russian light mobility assets. In a small motor park, they eliminated a quad bike and six motorcycles, platforms increasingly used by Russian assault teams for fast movement between tree lines.
“We continue working with precise, unforgiving strikes until the last occupier flees our land,” the fighters said.
Earlier, Ukrainian defense forces destroyed a Russian Zemledeliye remote mining system near the occupied city of Horlivka in the Donetsk region.
