Ukraine’s Drones Wipe Out Rare North Korean Launcher Near Pokrovsk, Video

Ukrainian troops destroyed a North Korean Type 75 multiple rocket launcher on the Pokrovsk front, the “Sky Predators” drone unit of the 59th Separate Assault Brigade reported on November 8.
The Russian forces attempted to hide the launcher inside a trench, camouflaging it with planks and branches. However, Ukrainian reconnaissance drones detected the system and struck it with precision.
“The occupiers thought they could surprise us with their new toy,” the Ukrainian unit said. “But we’ve seen this before—nothing new for us.”
The 107mm Type 75 system, supplied to Russia by North Korea, is based on China’s Type 63 multiple launch rocket system. It can fire both high-explosive fragmentation and cluster munitions to ranges of up to 8.6 kilometers.

Earlier, according to Ukrainian reports, Russian troops have been mounting these launchers on various vehicles to increase mobility and deployment speed—a tactic meant to compensate for the system’s limited range and low protection.
