On April 7, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi reported that Ukrainian drones destroyed more than 77,000 Russian targets in March, a 10% increase from February.

“One of the key priorities is to increase the combat capabilities of unmanned systems on the battlefield. By increasing the role of drones, we save the lives of our defenders,” Syrskyi wrote on Telegram.

He expressed gratitude for the soldiers' professionalism and effective performance.

In related news, Ukrainian Air Defense successfully shot down a Russian Shahed drone using a Browning heavy machine gun mounted on the AN/TWQ-1 Avenger air defense system.

This video, shared by the Air Force’s Southern Command, is believed to be the first of its kind, according to open-source intelligence analyst OSINTtechnical.
