Ukrainian Drones Wipe Out Russian Murom-M Surveillance System Near Vovchansk

Drones from the Falcon unit of Ukraine’s Hart Brigade successfully destroyed a Russian Murom-M long-range surveillance system near Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region, Ukraine’s Khortytsia group of forces reported on March 5.

“Even the enemy’s anti-drone net, which covered the system from all sides, failed to protect it. The first two drones from the Falcon unit punched a hole in the net, while the third delivered the final blow, destroying the complex completely,” Khortytsia operational-strategic group wrote on their Telegram channel.

The Khortytsia group added that border guards also targeted Russian personnel concentrations and a vehicle used to transport personnel and ammunition.

On March 3, the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a missile strike on a Russian 2S43 “Malva” wheeled howitzer, marking the second documented destruction of this artillery system, which only entered mass production in late 2023.
