
Ukraine regains control of the village of Nadiia in the Luhansk region, the 3rd Assault Brigade reported on March 23.
“The 3rd Assault Brigade reports that its forces, primarily the 1st Assault Battalion, have regained control of the village of Nadiia,” the brigade wrote on its official Telegram channel.
According to the brigade, the total area liberated from the Russian forces is three square kilometers.
“The capture of Nadiia cost the enemy two months of effort and the complete destruction of two mechanized regiments, the 752nd and 254th of Russia’s 20th Army,” said Andrii Biletskyi, Commander of the 3rd Assault Brigade.
On March 21, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, stated that Russian personnel losses in Ukraine have exceeded 900,000.
