Ukrainian Intelligence Eliminates Three Russian Soldiers in Stavropol Special Operation

Three Russian servicemen were eliminated on October 22 in Stavropol, Russia, during a special operation executed by Ukrainian intelligence.
The Main Directorate of Intelligence (HUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine confirmed the success on October 23, noting the operation was carried out with the support of the Caucasus Liberation Movement forces.
The high-profile incident took place near the checkpoint of military unit No. 54801, located in the very center of Stavropol city.
According to HUR, rhe eliminated servicemen belonged to the 247th Caucasus Cossack Air Assault Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces. This unit has a history of active participation in the war against Ukraine since 2014 and is implicated in numerous war crimes committed since Russia’s full-scale invasion.
In a separate operation, explosions rocked the southern Russian region of Stavropol on September 30, resulting in the elimination of three members of the Russian National Guard.
Ukraine’s Main Directorate of Intelligence reported that this action was also carried out with the support of the Caucasus Liberation Movement near the settlement of Tambukan.
Among those killed was a Lieutenant Colonel of the Russian National Guard who commanded the special detachment «Avangard.» His aide and driver were also eliminated. Intelligence reports indicate that the group was en route to a training ground but failed to reach their intended destination.
Earlier, Ukrainian forces neutralized a commander of the Russian “Akhmat” special unit’s UAV group, identified by his callsign, “Amur.”
