The Ukrainian Shark reconnaissance drone, actively used on the front lines, has caught the attention of the Czech Armed Forces.

Photos posted on the official Facebook page on April 29 of the Czech military show a range of drones undergoing field testing, including the Ukrainian fixed-wing Shark UAV.

According to the post, Czech military specialists, in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense, tested selected drones under “extreme conditions” simulating real combat scenarios.

The trials involved the Czech Army’s 53rd Reconnaissance and Electronic Warfare Regiment. The scenarios were designed to reflect the realities of modern warfare, specifically, operations in environments where enemy forces jam navigation and communication signals.

“Cooperation with civilian companies is our path to cutting-edge technologies. Progress can’t be stopped, and we must keep pace with it,” the Czech military stated.

While the exact criteria for drone selection have not been disclosed, and no additional information is available on the Ministry of Defence’s official site at the time of writing, the presence of the Ukrainian Shark drone, specifically the latest Shark-M modification, indicates growing interest in Ukraine’s battlefield-tested technologies.

Earlier, Ukraine’s defense tech cluster, Brave1, has launched the country’s first large-scale military technology marketplace, a centralized platform designed to provide soldiers with streamlined access to cutting-edge products and fast-track the integration of battlefield innovations.
