Ukrainian Strikes Wipe Out Thousands of Russian Shells and Hit S-300 Systems

Units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out a series of strikes against Russian military facilities across occupied territories, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on March 12.
During overnight operations, Ukrainian forces struck a launcher from an S-300V air defense system near the settlement of Borovenky in the occupied part of the Luhansk region. A command and observation post of Russian troops was also hit near Vasylivka in the occupied Zaporizhzhia region.

Ukrainian forces also targeted several key logistical and support facilities used by Russian troops.
Among the targets were a military supply depot and an ammunition warehouse near Dubivske in the occupied Luhansk region. Ukrainian strikes also hit a repair unit belonging to a Russian artillery brigade near Yakymivka in the occupied parts of the Zaporizhzhia region.
In another strike, Ukrainian forces targeted a train carrying fuel and lubricants near Dovzhansk in the occupied Luhansk region.

Earlier, on March 11, Ukrainian forces also struck a radar station belonging to an S-300 air defense system near Sevastopol in occupied Crimea.
The full extent of the damage caused by the strikes is still being assessed.
The General Staff also confirmed that an earlier attack on a field artillery ammunition depot near Shyroka Balka in the occupied Donetsk region destroyed more than 6,000 artillery shells of various types.
Earlier, Ukrainian FPV drones struck Russian military logistics vehicles approximately 50 kilometers behind the front line in the Donetsk region, targeting transport used to supply Russian forces.
