Satellite imagery confirms that a Ukrainian missile strike severely damaged one of Russia’s key military electronics manufacturers, potentially rendering a major production facility unusable, according to the Ukrainian OSINT community Cyber Boroshno on March 11.

The image shows the aftermath of the Ukrainian strike on the Kremniy EL plant in Bryansk, which was targeted with Storm Shadow cruise missiles.

According to analysis of the imagery, five missiles struck Building No. 4, one of the plant’s main production facilities.

The visible damage suggests that the workshop suffered extensive structural destruction. Analysts say restoring the facility would likely require a complete reconstruction, effectively taking the production line out of operation for the foreseeable future.

Satellite images shared by the OSINT project CyberBoroshno show multiple impact points across the main production building, confirming the scale of the strike.

Another missile impact was also recorded outside the main factory complex.

The Kremniy EL facility is one of Russia’s largest producers of microelectronics and plays a significant role in supplying components used in military systems.

The plant manufactures electronic components used in microchips installed in various Russian weapons systems, including cruise missiles and other advanced military equipment.

The strike was carried out using Storm Shadow/SCALP long-range cruise missiles, which are designed to penetrate air defense systems and destroy heavily protected targets.

The latest satellite imagery provides the clearest confirmation so far of the extent of damage inflicted on the facility following the Ukrainian strike.

Earlier, drones reportedly struck the KuibyshevAzot chemical plant in the Russian city of Tolyatti in the Samara region, triggering a fire at one of the facility’s production sites.
