Ukrainian drones operated by the Main Directorate of Intelligence (HUR) struck a Russian military logistics facility in the city of Bryansk on the morning of June 28.

The target was identified as a branch of the 1060th Red Banner Center for Material and Technical Support, previously known as the 120th Arsenal of the Russian Ministry of Defense’s Main Missile and Artillery Directorate.

According to Militarnyi on June 28, the strike resulted in explosions and a subsequent fire at the site, confirmed by footage briefly circulated by local residents.

The videos were later deleted, and Russian authorities have not officially acknowledged the incident, only reiterating a ban on sharing images of the aftermath of air defense activity.

The Russian Ministry of Defense claimed that air defenses had intercepted and destroyed 11 unmanned aerial vehicles over Bryansk region during the night and early morning hours.

However, geolocated imagery suggests that the strike damaged facilities linked to the 1060th Center, a known storage and repair base for artillery systems.

Intelligence sources stated that the operation was part of an ongoing campaign to degrade Russia’s military infrastructure.

The 120th Arsenal, located at the targeted site, had been slated in 2023 to become a dedicated artillery repair plant under a government order signed by the Russian prime minister.

Earlier, on April 28, Ukrainian drones targeted the Kremniy-EL microelectronics plant in Bryansk, one of Russia’s key military electronics producers. The facility, which supplies up to 90% of its output to the Russian Ministry of Defense, reportedly sustained damage after a series of explosions.
