US Shares Top-Secret Orbital Warfare Intelligence With UK to Counter China and Russia Threat

The United States has begun sharing highly classified intelligence on Chinese and Russian space activities with its Five Eyes allies, in what the US military has described as “momentous”, according to an article by The Times published on April 30.
Until April, the operations of Space Delta 9, a US unit specializing in orbital warfare, were strictly classified as “US eyes only” and accessible only to those with the highest security clearance.
However, amid growing concerns over China’s militarization of space, the Pentagon has granted British military personnel access to observe Space Delta 9’s work at the US Space Force’s Schriever base in Colorado.
According to the outlet, there is growing concern in the United States that China and Russia are rapidly advancing their space capabilities, with Beijing in particular making significant investments in space-based intelligence gathering.

“We have to be ready for that fight that nobody wants to have,” said Colonel Ramsey Horn, commander of Space Delta 9.
At a briefing at the US Embassy in London, Colonel Horn stated that the United States is capable of defeating its adversaries in space, a veiled warning directed at Beijing, The Times reported.
According to reports, the United States also intends to develop space-based weapons to protect Western satellites in the event of an attack.
On April 21, Intelligence Online reported that Japan has agreed to provide Ukraine’s military intelligence with satellite-based geospatial data, including radar imagery from SAR satellites, marking the first cooperation of this kind in Japan’s history.
