US Vice President Vance to Meet Zelenskyy at 2025 Munich Security Conference

Vice President JD Vance is scheduled to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during the Munich Security Conference next week, CBS News reported on February 9.
Zelenskyy will lead Ukraine’s delegation at the annual event, which begins on February 14. The New York Post first reported Vance’s attendance and the planned meeting.
The meeting comes amid growing speculation about potential diplomatic moves. US President Donald Trump hinted at a possible meeting with Zelenskyy in Washington, D.C., in the near future.
“I will probably be meeting with President Zelenskyy next week, and I will probably be talking to President Putin,” Trump told reporters.
“I’d like to see that war end,” he added.
However, no meeting between Trump and Zelenskyy has been officially scheduled.
Earlier, Zelenskyy responded to the potential meeting with Trump, emphasizing the importance of upcoming diplomatic efforts.
