What’s Included in the New $400 Million US Military Aid Package for Ukraine

US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has unveiled a new $400 million military aid package for Ukraine during an unannounced visit to Kyiv on October 21. The aid, part of ongoing US support under President Joe Biden’s leadership, includes ammunition, military equipment, and weapons.

The Pentagon disclosed the contents of this 68th package, which includes:

• Additional HIMARS ammunition

• 155mm and 105mm artillery shells

• 60mm, 81mm, and 120mm mortar rounds

• TOW anti-tank missile systems

• Javelin anti-tank missiles and AT-4 grenade launchers

• M113 tracked armored vehicles

• Satellite communication equipment

• Small arms and ammunition

• Grenades and training equipment

• Demolition munitions and equipment

• Critical infrastructure protection gear

• Spare parts, training, and transportation services

Austin reaffirmed US commitment to Ukraine, highlighting continued bipartisan support, while President Zelenskyy expressed gratitude for the assistance and the partnership.
